Our Booking PolicyAll bookings for private skating instruction can be made in writing at least 48 hours before the desired lesson start time. A deposit is required at the time of booking and will count toward the total cost which is due at the end of the lesson.

Lessons

On-Ice Private Coaching Session

Extended On-Ice Private Coaching Session

1 hr··$25

During this lesson we'll focus on refining technique in jumps, spins, and footwork, while also developing artistry and expression to boost performance quality and confidence.

Extended sessions are conducted in person at a rate of $75. These hour-long coaching private lessons are recommended for the dedicated skater. Rink location may vary depending on the day of the week and time of the lesson. I will reach out within 24 hours of your booking to send you the rink details.

Off-Ice Training Class

30 mins··$20

Off-ice is designed specifically for figure skaters to train jump technique, build functional strength, and develop the flexibility needed to execute some of the most difficult elements of the sport. It is a supplement to on-ice instruction.

Classes are offered on a need basis at a rate of $35/hr. All training equipment will be provided. Classes may be conducted in small groups based on demand.

As the location of available space varies, rink details will be sent out within 24 hours of booking.

Short Learn to Skate 1-on-1

Skaters in an LTS or bridge program can benefit from the individualized feedback and attention of a private lesson. Many students concurrently enrolled in a learn-to-skate program and private lessons can excel through the curriculum faster and begin the figure skating competitive track. Shorter sessions are recommended for students younger than 10.

Sessions are conducted in person. Rink location may vary depending on the day of the week and time of the lesson. I will reach out within 24 hours of booking to share rink and location details.

Learn to Skate 1-on-1

Sessions are conducted in person. Skaters in an LTS or bridge program can benefit from the individualized feedback and attention of a private lesson. Standard-length sessions (30-minutes) are recommended for beginner skaters at least 10 years old.

Adult Skating

New adult skaters can find comfort and safety in the individualized nature private lesson. Lessons are tailored to the skater, but generally include workshopping technique, developing strong posture habits, and having fun!

1-on-1 Skating Skills for Hockey

Hockey is one of the most demanding sports out there. Because many training programs focus heavily on stickhandling and game technique, players often opt for a lesson in skating skills to refine their edgework, mobility, and quality of movement.

I had an amazing 3 years with Mina. Her coaching really helped me improve my moves. I finally passed my silver skating skills test and won first place at my first Pre-Juvenile Excel competition!
